Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Bun Agents ("we", "us", "our") is a suite of productivity applications operated by Microleap. Our primary app is available at app.bunagents.com and our account portal is at portal.bunagents.com.

2. Data stored locally on your device

The Bun Agents Personal app stores all your content — notes, tasks, habits, expenses, journal entries, and all other plugin data — in an SQLite database inside your browser (IndexedDB/OPFS). This data:

• Never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable Cloud Sync (Pro)
• Is not accessible to us or any third party
• Persists across sessions and app restarts
• Can be deleted by clearing your browser/app storage

3. Account data (Portal)

If you create an account at portal.bunagents.com, we collect and store:

• Email address — for account identification and login
• Name — optional, used to personalize the portal
• License key — to track your Pro subscription status
• Device identifiers — anonymous IDs to enforce the 5-device limit for Pro accounts
• Subscription status and billing history — to manage your Pro access

This data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 (SQLite) database. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled via Google OAuth or magic links.

4. Cloud Sync (Pro)

Pro subscribers may enable Cloud Sync. When enabled:

• Your app data is encrypted and synced to Cloudflare's infrastructure
• Sync data is associated with your account and stored as long as your account is active
• You can delete your sync data at any time from account settings
• We do not read, analyze, or process the content of your synced data

5. What we do NOT collect

• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
• Crash reports or error telemetry
• Third-party advertising pixels or trackers
• Session recordings or heatmaps
• Any content you create in the app (notes, tasks, etc.) unless you enable Cloud Sync

6. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Cloudflare — hosting, D1 database, R2 storage. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
• Google OAuth — optional login method. If you sign in with Google, your Google profile data (email, name) is shared with us per Google's terms.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Mixpanel, or any advertising networks.

7. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in to the portal. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party cookies.

8. Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@bunagents.com. We will delete your data within 30 days. Local device data must be cleared separately via your browser settings.

9. Children's privacy

Bun Agents is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll note the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
